Tuesday, May 14, 2024; gather at 11:30am.  Presentation from 12:00-1:00pm.

Triathlete, Ironman contender, Air Force reservist, Catholic Priest; Fr. Jay Jacinto, a native of the Bicol Province, Philippines, is currently on missionary assignment to Mother of Sorrows Parish in Murrysville. Join us to hear about this man’s transformative vocation journey.

Boomers and Beyond is a ministry serving the “baby boomers” of Mother of Sorrows parish and the surrounding communities. Lunch and Learn sessions are held on the second Tuesday of each month, in the Mother of Sorrows social hall.  Topics are varied, reservations are not required, and sessions are free to all interested adults. Participants gather at 11:30am and are encouraged to bring a “brown bag” lunch and to bring a friend.  Beverages are provided.  Presentations follow, from 12:00-1:00pm.

Vacation Bible School will be held at St. Barbara Parish. Registration will end April 30.

Join fellow pilgrims from the Diocese of Greensburg at the
10th National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis, Indiana

July 17-21, 2024

The Diocese has reserved 100 5-day adult tickets to the event and a block of hotel rooms in Indianapolis for our delegation. Families with children are encouraged to purchase discounted family tickets directly from the National Eucharistic Congress website.
Registration includes: 1 adult 5-day ticket to the National Congress, bus transportation to Indianapolis, transportation to the event center each day and a 4-night hotel stay. Reservations are available on a first-come first-served basis.
$900/person for double occupancy
$1,200/person for single occupancy
(Financial aid is available through the Francis Fund)
