Adult Formation Opportunity
Mother of Sorrows Parish and the Institute for Ministry Formation (IMF) at Saint Vincent Seminary are excited to co-host a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 1 formation course this academic year led by National Formation Leader, Mary Beth Palko, of the Diocese of Greensburg. The Level 1 course is necessary for working with 3-6 year olds, and is also the foundation for all other levels of CGS formation.
Sessions will take place in the Ave Maria Room and the CGS Level 1 Atrium at Mother of Sorrows for Part 1 on: October 21, November 11, 12, January 6, 20, February 3, 17, and for Part 2: March 2, 3, April 6, 7, May 4, 5 and June 8, 9. Saturday sessions will be 9:30 AM-4:30 PM and Sunday sessions will go from 1:00 PM-6:00 PM.
There is a $100 registration fee due by Oct 7th and the course fee is $375.00 per part. Diocesan Francis Funds are available for participants from the Diocese of Greensburg. The Diocese of Pittsburgh also has scholarship opportunities available.
